On May 15, 2014, 229m long, 93,000 tons deadweight, 52,000 tons of coal, China Hong Kong "Xitong" successfully berthing Yangzhou Taifu Port Terminal, to refresh Yangzhou Port large-scale ships connected to the record. 

On June 21, 2014, the newly-built staff dormitory building was officially put into use, which can solve the problem of 204 staff accommodation at the same time. 

On November 29, 2014, nearly 40 experts from China Metallurgical Group, Baosteel, Shougang, Angang, Masteel and other large rotary cellar pelletizing plants, and professors from Central South University gathered at Taifu Special material to participate in the North Engineering and Technology Research Institute of China Metallurgical Co., Ltd. Taifu special material to host the large-scale cellar ball production technology seminar. 

December 18, 2014, the project equipment installation has been basically completed, entered the equipment commissioning phase.
